ABM/ADE assignment is not the same as a local MDM profile
A local MDM profile is installed on the Mac and can often be observed with macOS tools. ABM/ADE assignment is maintained through Apple and an organization's management records. A local checker can document local evidence, but it cannot remove or prove release of server-side assignment.
Local MDM profile
May appear in profile listings, payload details, certificates, managed preferences, supervision context, or local service state. MDM Liberator focuses on documenting these local traces.
ABM/ADE assignment
Lives outside the Mac. Release must come from the seller, organization, Apple-supported records, or the appropriate administrator. Request written confirmation before resale or reliance.
